When I install an EV charger, I think about what you actually drive and what you're going to drive next, and I size the circuit for that. I'd rather oversize the conductor today than have you call me back in three years when you upgrade to a vehicle that pulls more.
I walk your panel first. Some panels have plenty of capacity. Some are already getting filled past where they should be, which means an EV charger added on top is asking for trouble. If your panel is tight, we look at a sub-panel, a service upgrade, or a different placement. You'll see real options before anyone touches a wire.
Then we plan the run. The cleanest install is the one you don't see. A clean conduit path, a thoughtful entry point, a tidy mount. You shouldn't be looking at exposed wire on the side of your garage. You should be plugging in and walking inside.
Hardwired Level 2 chargers are recommended for the most reliable long-term installation.
Load calculations are performed before installation to ensure your system can safely support the charger.
Not every panel can support a 50A or 60A circuit without changes. We tell you straight at the consultation. If your panel is full, we walk you through the real options, which may include a sub-panel or a service upgrade.
We can install any Level 2 charger you bring, or recommend one based on your vehicle and your usage. We don't push a specific brand. The best charger is the one that matches your car and your habits.
