Clay Springs sits along the corridor toward Show Low, and we have worked these properties for years. Project consultations are free.
Clay Springs is older White Mountains country: homesteads, family land, and cabins that have been added onto across generations. That usually means wiring from several different eras living in one set of walls, sub-panels feeding sub-panels, and well pump circuits sized for what the property needed decades ago.
Properties here also tend to spread out, with shops, barns, and outbuildings a long run from the main panel. We size and protect those runs properly, so the far end of your property is as safe as the house.
Water runs on electricity out here. Most Clay Springs properties live on well pumps, and a pump circuit that was sized for the 1980s version of the property is one of the most common problems we find. Undersized wire on a long run, protection that doesn't match the motor, controls that predate the second pressure tank: it all works until the day it doesn't, and pumps are not cheap to lose. Our service work in Clay Springs starts with the circuits that keep the property alive.
Homestead properties spread out, and the electrical has to travel with them. Shops, barns, hay storage, the second house on the parcel: feeding outbuildings properly means sub-panels sized for the real loads, feeders that don't starve at distance, and grounding done right at every structure. That's core panel and sub-panel work for us, and it's most of what we do on the bigger parcels along the 260 corridor.
The homes themselves carry generations of wiring. Cloth insulation in the original rooms, romex in the 1990 addition, whatever the neighbor had on the truck in between. A whole home evaluation sorts the layers honestly: what's fine, what's tired, what's actually dangerous. And when the honest answer is bigger than a repair, a partial or full rewire gets planned around your family's life, not around our convenience.
Clay Springs sits in the same lightning country as the rest of the White Mountains, and rural services on long utility runs feel every storm. Whole home surge protection at the panel is the cheapest insurance a property out here can carry, and it's a conversation we have on almost every Clay Springs panel project.
Financing is available on larger projects. See the Financing page, or ask at the consultation.
"Quality work. I contacted Amelio with needs to replace my panel as well as running some new switches and lights for a renovation. He was prompt and professional, providing valuable input and excellent work. I definitely recommend his work."
