Services

What kind of work do you do?
Residential only. Full service. We handle service calls and repairs, whole home electrical evaluations, panel replacement, whole home rewires, backup generators, EV chargers, smart lighting, smart home integration, permanent holiday lighting, and direct-homeowner new construction electrical for homeowners building in the White Mountains.
Do you do new construction?
Yes, but only direct-homeowner. We work for you, not for a general contractor. If a GC controls the electrical sub on your project, we are not the right fit and we will tell you straight.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We pull permits, coordinate with the utility for meter pulls, and meet inspectors as part of the project on any work that requires it.
Can you work on older cabins and homes that have been added onto over the years?
That is most of what the White Mountains is. Original construction, cabin add-ons, helpful neighbors, decades of work stacking on itself. The right first step on a layered home is an honest evaluation, so you know what you actually have before anyone touches a wire.

Pricing and Options

What does it cost?
Investment depends on the project. For project work, we come out for an in-home consultation at no charge, look at what brought us there, and put together real options for you to choose from. Each option shows you what is included, what it costs, and what it does for your home. You decide which one fits. If something is broken and you need it diagnosed, that visit carries a flat diagnostic service, priced upfront when you call, and we waive it if you move forward with the work.
Why don't you put prices on the website?
Your home has a story. The wiring, the panel, the work that came before us, what's behind the walls. There is no honest way to give you one price before any of that has been looked at, so we don't pretend. We look first, then you get real options with exact pricing.
Will the price change partway through the job?
No. Every price is honest, once, with no surprises. This investment isn't going to change on you.
Do you offer financing?

Do you serve my area?
Yes if you are within a 60-mile radius of Heber-Overgaard, Arizona. The cities we serve are Clay Springs, Forest Lakes, Heber-Overgaard, Linden, Payson, Pinedale, Pinetop-Lakeside, Show Low, Snowflake, and Taylor. Are you actually local?
Yes. We are based in Heber-Overgaard and the White Mountains are the only place we work. We are not a Phoenix-area shop driving up for one job. We know what gets installed wrong up here, and what tends to fail.

What happens when I call you out?
We look at what brought us there, and we put together real options for you to choose from. Each one shows you what is included, what it costs, and what it does for your home. You scroll through them yourself. You decide which one fits, and how far to go.
How quickly can you come out?
Schedule depends on the season and the workload. Call 928-395-7016 to ask about availability. Rizen VIP Members get priority scheduling.
Will you pressure me to fix everything you find?
No. An evaluation is going to find things you don't know exist. That's the point, and none of it has to be fixed that day. If we find something genuinely dangerous we tell you straight, in plain language, and give you the options to address it. We don't dramatize, and we don't downplay.

The Guarantee

What is your guarantee?
The Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee, on every job, no matter the size. If anything we did fails because of how we did it, we come back and make it right, at no cost to you, for as long as you own the home.
What does the guarantee not cover?
Manufacturer defects on a device or fixture itself fall under the manufacturer's warranty, not ours. The craftsmanship is the work itself: the wire we pulled, the device we installed, the connection we made. The work is ours.

Scheduling and Membership

What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday, call to inquire.
What is the Rizen VIP Membership?
$489 a year, for homeowners who want priority access and an ongoing relationship with their electrician. Members get priority scheduling, an annual whole home electrical evaluation included, reduced service costs with the diagnostic service waived for the year, and an electrician who already knows your home's system.
